The Expression “That Can’t Happen” Has No Place in the Ocean

The speaker has been a commercial fisherman in Alaska and has experience SCUBA diving on offshore engineering projects in Hawaii. He has observed some unusual things, certain ones of which, when recounted, have been greeted with “that couldn’t possibly happen”. But it did! Some related personal experiences will be described, with additional material from the unpublished observations of other credible mariners.
