Recent graduate Timothy Lum-Yee was one of nine student leaders who were honored with the Undergraduate Leadership Distinction Award at the University of Hawai’i at Manoa Spring 2007 Commencement Exercises on Sunday, May 13, 2007.
The Undergraduate Leadership Distinction Award is a prestigious honor given to students who demonstrate exemplary service to their fellow students and the campus community. The Co-curricular Activities, Programs & Services Office received a record number of qualified nominations this year making the process highly competitive.
Timothy Lum-Yee, of Anchorage, Alaska, served with five organizations during his tenure, including the Associated Students of the University of Hawai’i at Manoa, the Student Court, the American Society of Civil Engineers, the New Student Orientation-Honors Program and the Honors Futures Committee.
